Standard of Grace
Kristina met us at the United By Blue Flagship, and we chatted about her travels over granola and coffee. With a light Austrian accent, she recounted her summer adventures across the United States. She started in Los Angeles and from there traveled to San Francisco, Monterey, Big Sur, Las Vegas, Zion National Park, New Orleans, Cumberland Island, Savannah, Charleston, Nashville, Memphis, Great Smokey Mountains, Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville, Charlottesville, Newport News, Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Philadelphia. Her last and final stop would be Washington DC. Befitting.
She traveled and stayed with people she knew from the social media-sphere. When asked how it had been going, she exclaimed "It's been great!" with a huge smile. In San Francisco she met up with blogger Alpinisto Americano, Eric, who she had originally met in Vienna with Eric's girlfriend, blogger PearlKillers when they had traveled there on a trip. She traveled all of the south with Gina Fontes, founder of The Blog Wander, a collective of women who see travel as the ultimate inspiration. We joked that she had a better experience of the states than either of us had ever had.
Why did you choose the United States? Why did you travel this year? We asked.
