Date: Aug. 3rd, 2012

Location: Jordan River Park

Haul: 240 lbs

After a day of talking shop at Outdoor Retailer, one of the largest outdoor industry trade shows, 35 OR attendees and exhibitors joined UBB and Mayor Becker’s Office in cleaning up the Jordan River at Jordan River Park.

Every year, the Jordan River calls thousands to its banks and 40 miles of trails to hike, fish, boat, and bike. In just a few hours, volunteers removed 24 bags of trash from along the mighty river.

United By Blue would like to thank the Mayor Becker’s OfficeB-LabSquatters Pubs and Beers, Salt Lake City Corporation, Outdoor Retailer, and our volunteers.
