441 lbs.

United by Blue visited Seattle for a cleanup of Lake Washington at Lower Colman Park. With the help of over 65 volunteers, including team members from REI, Washington Water Trails, and local Geocachers, we removed 441 lbs. of trash! Volunteers pulled debris and recycling stuck in the greenery around the park, as well as micro-plastics and strange items along the shore. Weirdest trash finds included a wooden cross, baseball, pick, ski mask, and Malibu Rum bottles.

Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers, REI Seattle, Washington Water Trails, City of Seattle and local Geocachers for their support!
