Haul
1,108 lbs.

Under sunny, windy skies, about 50 volunteers removed 1,108 lbs. of trash and debris from Pleasant Hill Park and the Delaware River. Thanks to a local, blustery storm a few days prior, plenty of weird trash washed ashore and was recovered, such as a swimsuit top, an animal bone, bits of paper with poetic ramblings, and a personal Halloween photo of a man dressed like Dracula (you had to see it to believe it!).

Special thanks to: the wonderful volunteers, Mugshots Coffeehouse for the delicious snacks, Friends of Pleasant Hill Park, Friends of Pennypack Park, Philadelphia Water,Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, and the Streets Department for their support.
