Overview:  

Customer service is one of the most important roles for an e-commerce business. United By Blue is seeking kind and hardworking individuals to join our team on a part time basis in order to ensure the best experience for our customers. The customer service role will involve everything from answering the phone, to processing returns, to working with our office staff to coordinate inventory management. This position has flexible hours and may fluctuate based on our web traffic and promotions. 


What you’ll do:

  • Answer all e-mails from our customer service portal, Zendesk, in a timely manner
  • Solve any problems customers have 
  • Answer any live chats that come through our website live chat portal
  • Answer phones and any questions our customers may have
  • Take orders placed over the phone 
  • Process returns and ensure items are properly returned to inventory
  • Execute exchanges and work with customers to be sure they are requesting the correct product
  • Examine and evaluate bags received from our Lifetime Guarantee program
  • Assist in the management and customer service related to our Kickstarter Project
  • Assist warehouse team with any special shipping/packaging projects on an as needed basis
