Title: Graphic Designer

Overview: As a member of our brand marketing team, the United By Blue Graphic Designer collaborates cross-functionally to tell the UBB story. The Graphic Designer is tasked with ensuring that UBB has skillfully and tastefully designed assets across all marketing and editorial initiatives. Supporting our in-house creative team, you'll generate and contribute to brand content that builds awareness, engages customers, grows adoption and drives sales for our mission-driven company across all touch points, including the website, emails, social media, catalogs, blog stories and other marketing communications. This position reports into the Creative Marketing Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Design assets across all of UBB’s marketing channels, including (but not limited to):
    • Emails
    • Web content (homepage, blog, etc)
    • Print mailers (postcards, bifolds, etc)
    • Catalogs
    • Social Media
    • Retail Signage
    • Event Signage
    • Wholesale Collateral
  • Create assets that impactfully reflect the brand and allow product to shine
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, and execution with a creative team
  • Stay organized and self-manage time and to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of design experience in a creative team environment: retail marketing or advertising setting preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and/or Advertising
  • Excellent digital and print design skills
  • Expert at Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Able to maintain a high quality of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work well with direction and feedback
  • Self-motivated, expressive, positive, and accountable
  • Resourceful: Able to problem solve and find multiple design solutions, especially under narrow parameters or strict budget restraints
  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail (self-proofing/editing)
  • A curious and innovative thinker
  • Adaptive to change and tight deadlines
  • Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment: you seek efficiencies and improvements and are excellent at prioritizing
  • Able to collaborate with project partners throughout departments
  • Strong communication skills and great working with other people
