Title: Wholesale Associate

Overview: United By Blue is looking for a Wholesale Associate to join our Wholesale Sales Team.  This position will be part of our in-house Wholesale Team which has 600+ retail partners globally with distribution primarily in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.  The optimal candidate will be able to manage existing relationships/accounts and will also have the ability to create new relationships and open new accounts.  

What you’ll do:

This role will be responsible for developing and managing UBB’s wholesale business in the Northeast and Great Lakes territories. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Manage a designated sales territory beginning with the FW20 prebook season

  • Achieve seasonal sales goals of designated sales territory

  • Build relationships with retail store buyers

  • Identify new growth and distribution opportunities

  • Plan/attend/manage select regional and national trade shows

  • Schedule line showings with buyers attending trade shows

  • Follow up on leads gathered at trade shows and other sources

  • Visit current and prospective accounts, keeping in contact with buyers on a regular basis

  • Manage the wholesale opportunity pipeline

  • Keep and update accurate customer records in CRM software


This position will require extensive travel. Travel will include attending regional and national trade shows, as well as visiting key regional accounts throughout the US. Reasonable travel expenses will be covered by the company. 

Who you are:

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales or customer service

  • Wholesale sales experience a plus

  • Tenacious with the ability to open doors

  • Entrepreneurial

  • Great communicator on all channels; in person, over the phone, and via e-mail 

  • Team player with a positive attitude 

  • A lover of the outdoors and a passion for conservation
