“I was looking for a liner for a navy down parka for the extra cold weather. Weight and warmth wise this is a true liner rather than a stand alone coat in the cold. True to size. I have trouble with fit in some brands due to my pear shaped figure, 8 top, 10 bottom. Sometimes I am a M, sometimes an L to fit my hips. I have a United by Blue jacket size M that is snug at the hips, so I ordered this coat in L. It is big all over on me, a true size L. Debated exchanging for an M, but liked how the L felt snuggly. It bunches well under my parka. I also wear it indoors on the coldest days.”

True to size and warm for NYC

"Great jacket. I can wear it in the 20s F with a sweater or other layer beneath it’s very warm. I don’t love the zipper, but it’s not bad, it just feels flimsy. So far no issues though. This lasted through the winter and I wore it on all but the coldest days. Below 25F I switch to my Canada Goose all the way down to -10F. Then when it’s really cold, like -40F, my other UBB bison wool coat comes out. I wanted something like this for nights at the theater or ballet when it’s cold but I don’t want bulk."

Happy with this liner

"I was looking for a liner for a navy down parka for the extra cold weather. Weight and warmth wise this is a true liner rather than a stand alone coat in the cold. True to size. , the jacket is okay,

", the jacket is okay, but I expected much more for the price. The fit is too big and baggy, even when I wear it over a heavy sweatshirt."

Great jacket!

"I really love the green color, and the smocking on the back adds just the right fit. Thanks for the drawstring for the hood, too! This jacket is plenty warm for most winter days here in North Carolina, especially with layering."

Surprisingly warm!

"Big fan of this jacket! Given how lightweight it is, I was pleasantly surprised to find it is as warm as advertised. For context, I live on the coast in Maine and have been wearing the jacket over a sweater in 20-30 degree weather."

Hm…

"I bought this for an upcoming trip north, but I can’t imagine it’ll keep me warm in 20 degree weather when it still leaves me kinda chilly in 60 degree weather. Interested to see how this holds up but it does not inspire confidence. It’s so thin. Bummer, even on sale it cost a pretty penny."

Fun jacket!

"It’s not as warm as I had hoped but it is lightweight and thin, it covers a lot and keeps my bottom warm. The zipper leads more to be desired as most of the time I end up pulling it apart at the bottom by accident and then I step into the jacket as I end up not wanting to change the zipper pull tab once I have it set in place."

Q&A

Does this pack up small? I love the idea of it and was wondering if it packs small similar to a Patagonia nano puff.
Hi Megan! This jacket can pack up pretty small, but it is not designed to be "packable" like our Bison Ultralight Jacket.
Is the material noisy.
Hi Kay! The material of this jacket does make some noise with movement.
