Yak wool is naturally antimicrobial and exceptionally soft. It's also moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating, keeping your feet comfortable in any season. The fiber comes from Tibetan yaks and offers a luxurious feel. The sock is a wool blend, so if wool bothers your skin you might feel it.

Both are as warm as our socks get. Bison socks last longer. Yak socks are softer: yak is softer than any fiber we’ve found except cashmere. Both wick moisture and resist odor.

Our yak wool socks are made from 33% wool, 17% Yak, 26% polyester, 22% nylon & 2% spandex for durability and stretch.

Free returns on unworn socks within 90 days, and exchanges are free too. They’re guaranteed against manufacturing defects; normal wear and tear isn’t covered.

Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners to maintain the natural properties of the yak wool.

Soft, warm, fuzzy, like a kitty without the purr

"Natural warmth that plastic fibers can never make. Polyester is all that's out there now . . . entire walmart store aisles shelves filled with socks that are unhealthful, uncomfortable, undesirable. Even the cotton stuff is GMO poisoned. REI used to have a fine wool "sock liner" for inside ski boots and hiking boots, that was perfect. Thin warm and comfortable year round. They stopped making it. Now, too thick. The one thing I would like is solid color. But for now, appreciate any way I can get."
