Join United by Blue and Allegheny CleanWays for a cleanup in Braddock, PA! This is a 2-day cleanup, Saturday 4/6/24 and Sunday 4/7/24 9:00am - 12:00pm.
Come to one day or come to both, either way please register for each day you plan to attend separately. Street parking is available on Washington Ave.
All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes or boots, long pants, long sleeves, and a hat are encouraged to protect from poison ivy, ticks, and sunburn. Please be advised these cleanups are messy. Don't wear anything you don't want ruined. There are times we are working on steep hillsides, in alleyways, on abandoned lots, or near waterways. Bring extra clothing as you may want to add layers, lose layers or change after the cleanup. We will provide work gloves and all other necessary tools and materials.
There will be prizes and giveaways for volunteers as well as free refreshments after the cleanup! Thank you for being a part of this effort that will help to improve the health and wellbeing of both the environment and community around the dumpsite.
