Fort Collins Cleanup Recap

Fort Collins Cleanup Recap

Thank you FORT COLLINS! We headed out to the Poudre River last Sunday to clean up important recreational community spaces. Together, we were able to remove 31 bags of trash, which translates to around 375 pounds of debris collected.

The work of volunteers is more critical than ever in keeping our waterways clean. The health of the Poudre relies on us all working together to reduce our consumption of single-use plastics and chipping in when we can to remove debris. One of my favorite quotes has been:

“ Do unto those downstream as you would have those upstream do unto you” -Wendell Berry

Thank you to our incredible partners for supporting this work. You can read more about their work below.
