Title: Grocery Program Site Supervisor
Overview: The Grocery Program Supervisor plays a key role in helping United By Blue deliver groceries to eligible members. This role works directly with the Grocery Program Site Manager to assist in the daily operations of bags to the member population. The ideal candidate for this role has experience working with food and is highly organized.
What You’ll Do:
Food Production and Packaging
- Packaging items that arrive in bulk into individual serving sizes
- Baking cookies
- Working with team members to assess where there are gaps and make adjustments as needed
Grocery Delivery
- Assist Grocery Site Manager with communication with CX and Logistics team to ensure that all members receive groceries in a timely manner
- Assist with deliveries in extenuating circumstances
General Maintenance
- Bring any maintenance issues to the attention of Grocery Site Manager
- Hop in and help with necessary repairs if they are easy to achieve
- Keep work area clean and up to food safety standards
Who You Are:
- Management experience preferred
- Excellent IT and problem solving skills
- Willing to work flexible schedule
- Excellent written and oral communication skill
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occassionally
- Positive attitude
- Sustainability-focused lifestyle
- Current Pennsylvania drivers license with clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check, including OIG Exclusion List
