This summer in Boulder, Colorado we partnered with local non-profits and B Corps and over 100 volunteers to remove 545 pounds of trash from the Goose Creek trail. This creek path has lots of use from bikers, runners, and dog walkers. However, it does not get the attention from local cleanups like other creek paths do in the area.Â

The most common items we came across were single-use plastics. We found many plastic cups, food wrappers, water bottles, and cans. We can work together to reduce our consumption of these single use plastics by opting for reusables.Thank you to our partners Patagonia Boulder, Boulder Parks and Rec, Ocean First, GreenFi, and the Rayback Collective.
