Since 2010, United By Blue has organized cleanups that have removed over 5.4 million pounds of trash from rivers, creeks, coastlines, and wild places. In 2024, we launched our nonprofit arm, Waves of Change Foundation, as a fiscally sponsored project of Social Good Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — so we could fund even more cleanups without relying only on product sales.
Product revenue alone can't cover everything it takes to bring 100+ volunteers together, supply them, and haul thousands of pieces of trash out of local waterways.
