“I just took my first trip with this bag and I love it! It fits all the stuff I needed for a 4-day/3-night trip (in January). The main compartment is very roomy and the other compartments seemed perfectly designed to me for organizing all the little things that otherwise get lost at the bottom of a duffle. I especially like the compartments at either end which can fit a pair of flip-flops or slippers. The bag itself is quite light but the material is durable and the hardware is all quite solid. You can feel the quality in the construction. I particularly like the heavy duty zippers that don’t bind even when zipping closed a full compartment. I expect this to become my go-to bag for short to medium length trips.”

Could this be considered a “personal item” according to a typical airline? Or would it be too large and must be considered a carry-on?

We think this bag makes a great carry-on, but we'd recommend checking with your airline to be sure that it meets their requirements before flying, since size requirements for carry-ons and personal items can vary greatly depending on the airline.
