Greater New Orleans AreaI've been creating art since I could first hold a pencil and haven't stopped since. It has been a constant passion in my life that gives me purpose. I love all the expressive textures you can create with paints, cut paper, oil pastels, and especially printmaking. You'll often find me using these mediums or recreating their textures digitally when drawing on my Ipad. Most of my work focuses on self-worth, embracing individuality, and prioritizing mental wellbeing. I gravitate towards these subjects because they are important topics that I think should be prioritized in our lives. The complexity of identity and emotions fascinates me. I am often inspired by my own experiences related to these topics. I try to express these thoughts in playful down to earth hand-lettering and illustrations that people can identify with. I  like to use a grid system and play with bold colors to create a strong dynamic composition that has a lot of positive energy! Our need for sustainable alternatives is super important to make sure our planet and its people are healthy and happy. That is why I choose to work with and support businesses that are trying to make a positive impact. Art helps people share, learn, and engage with important topics like this in an accessible way. That is why art is an awesome tool to ignite change. I was so happy to create art people can wear to share messages they believe in! Plus, I am a huge fan of United by Blue’s dedication to sustainability. A perfect combo for a powerful project! Enjoy where you are as you work towards where you want to be.
