True to size, short and comfy
"Fiance loves these, they're comfy and let him move freely and also short! Hard to find shorter shorts these days! He's typically a L (36) and the L fit very well. If you're a 38 you could probably fit but I'd size up to be on the safe side, the strings let you overtighten a little bit."

Great, simple look & quality make
"Worn these a handful of times now and I've really liked them. They're such a simple, classic design but one that stands out. I like the shorter cut but they don't feel too short. They don't have much give so make sure you heed the sizing. I wear a small most of the time in swim suits (30" waist for most pants), but I checked the sizing and went with the Medium and it fits great but if I went any smaller, I'd have a hard time getting them on."
