“On the day traditionally known as, "Black Friday", United by Blue changed the world one Cleanup Kit at a time. The kits themselves inspired many to not only clean up the gorgeous environments we live in, but to wander outside and simply make an impact. It's stunning how a small push in the right direction can snowball into a contagious lifestyle. The students I picked up trash with in the campus arboretum on Blue Friday are now spending hours doing homework there, and appreciating the natural beauty on campus. The impact Blue Friday had on me and those surrounding me is tangible and undeniable; if the same is true for every kit delivered then the impact of this new holiday should be widely celebrated.”
